It's something I've been interested in for awhile but never got into it, but since I won't be able to get it soon I thought why not. Something I thought about while downloading it is if it can be applied to the Windows 7 Install file. I never really used a recovery disc, I mainly used my install disc to troubleshoot peoples issues, including mine. So if I could modify the install file to integrate DaRT that would be of great help in my IT department.
If there is anyone here that could help my with this achievement I'd greatly appreciate it Thanks for any help, DWreck. What I mean is using the install disk not a recovery disk.
So if I booted from the install disk and selected repair instead of install it would bring up DaRT. When I went though the setup I could only apply it to a recovery disk. To do that, you would need, one each of the list below. Starter = one x32 Basic = one each x32 & x64.
Home Premium = one each x32 & x64. Professional = one each x32 & x64. Ultimate = one each x32 & x64. Enterprise = one each x32 & x64. MSDaRT only, you would need, one each of the list below.
One x32 One x64 One x64 UEFI mode, (would need to be made on a Windows 7 PC install in UEFI mode) = three CD's. What I mean is using the install disk not a recovery disk. But I only need to modify the Ult. Installation Disk.
The others are not needed for troubleshooting end users. I don't need the whole MDOP package on the install file if that's what you mean by 'MSDaRT only'. I only need DaRT on my Windows 7 Ult. As you can see, I have some pinned icons, but they don't seem to touch the bottom of the taskbar. I'm pretty sure they used to, and I am not sure what happened. If anyone could. General Discussion I have 6 gb of ram, and usually games and web browsers like firefox take up 900,000 or 1,000,000 kb of memory. That's around 1 gb of ram. I still have 5 more gb that could be used to make my programs and games run more efficient. Is there a way to do that without overclocking?
Because my gpu isn't. Performance & Maintenance - Deleted - Software My windows 7 64bit PC which I have recently built says that there is 4gb of RAM on my system (which there is) but only 3.5gb of which is usable. I have an 880GMA-UD2H giga-byte motherboard. When I enter the BIOS I can't seem to see a memory remap option, although maybe I've just missed it.
Hardware & Devices Hey guys, Im on my friends computer and we just installed Windows 7 RC 7100. Only problem is, his cpu is running at half the clock frequency. His AMD Phenom II 955 BE is supposed to run at 3.2ghz but barely reaches 1.6ghz. The Computer says its 1.6ghz, and no, when theres a load shoved upon.

Hi Jonf Yes I saw that the script copied Additional files for MsDart 7.0 but with the existing tests 'If,ExistFile' in the script there is no problem. The script is allready compatible with MsDart 6.5 (Tested) but with the Shorcut SubFolder 'MS-DART 7.0'. For the shortcut subfolder the version can be recovered in erddiskpart.exe for example.
The script would be cleaner without the names 70 and 7.0 but it is not absolutely necessary, Up to you. Maybe well to indicate that the script is also compatible with version 6.5 About debugging tools, I have them in MsDart 6.5 and not in version 7.0, is this normal? Regards Chris.
@ Joakim although i have not tried your new script yet, but it seems MS changed something in 7.0 version of DART, i am saying it, because in my win7 PE, i have ERD 6.5 already working OK., when i replaced the existing files with 7.0, and i open Dart Tool's menu, it is saying on every tool's below space ( TOOL IS NOT AVAILABLE ),while the files are there in system32, (and i changed MUI files too in EN-US directory ), when i tried to manually run a tool (say ERD Regedit), it did not load up. While the previous version's exe runs just fine under same PE. Dont know what went wrong there with new version.
Has anyone else noticed something like this?
